Steve Conway

CEO/Owner
Steve worked for the Doe Run Company and related subsidiaries from 1986 until he and his wife, Angelina, purchased QMF in 2013. He rose through the ranks, working as a welding and fabrication leader and as a General Foreman in Doe Run’s Research and Technical Development Operations. He also spent ten years as the maintenance shop’s lead man for the company’s lead acid battery recycling center near Boss, Missouri. Steve is a hands-on leader, and you’re as likely to find him in the shop under a welding helmet as you are in the front office.

Rusty Howard

Shop Manager
Rusty has been an important part of QMF since 1994, and he’s performed every operation in the facility on his way to becoming Shop Manager. He’s responsible for operations, job scheduling, budgeting and much more. Incredibly knowledgeable about how things work in the shop and in operations, Rusty is the go-to guy for getting things done.

Mark Major

Project Manager
Mark joined the QMF team in 2000, and over the years he has gained experience on all the welding, cutting, and machining equipment in the QMF shop. Mark now serves as the company’s Project Manager. He’s a top-notch CAD designer and he manages QMF’s information technology. Some of his other responsibilities include purchasing, budgeting, steel detailing, and machine programming. The strong silent type, Mark is one of those who quietly goes about his work, doing an incredible job serving customers and the people in the plant.
